don't get me wrong, Spinoza is absolutely brilliant, and the concepts he introduced to mankind are unparalleled. However, his style of writing, namely his geometric order can be one hell of a turnoff to a non-dedicated philosopher. If you want to get someone into philosophy, tell them to read "Sophie's World".
