Yes it is a homework assignment. I got the wrong textbook and I can't seem to find the answer anywhere on the internet or at the lib.

I can tell you what the public thinks of children with disabilities because I work with them, and also have a child with autism. I did not know there were four stages.
The public has no patience,no understanding, no compassion.
The have no patience when the child is in line at the store.
The have no understanding when the child goes into a meltdown or drops to the floor for no apparent reason
The have no compassion for the adult who is with the child. I have heard adults say, I can't believe she lets her child act like that. Lets go to a different line, this one is too slow, I have been given the nastiest looks, name it and it has happened.

except I marry a guy with the only excellent call Floyd and that i nickname my toddler "pink" then theres no way i'm naming my baby after a band. even with the actual incontrovertible truth that, per chance a midsection call of a musician will be ok. My cousin has the midsection call "Henley" after Don Henley of The Eagles. Its no longer a unusual call, yet some thing like woman Gaga would only be undeniable unusual :)

first people think a child is being wierd, then they blame the parents, then they shun them then there are those who finally accept them. my child is disabled.
