the president is a lame duck president. The congress is not on his side any more, he now has 2 years left.
He is in need of reading material to last until he is out of office. I just guess tat you are his first. You must have one heck of a little black book...LOL

He isn't rummaging through your mail... nor is he wiretapping you. As a teaspoon of intelligence would suggest, only people who are for some reason suspected of ill-intent against the nation are monitored.
