The noise happens intermitent. The car does not have to be cold or hot, I noticed that its when making a sharp left or U turn at high speed, no faster than 24 mph. The noise sounds like a growling noise and the steering wheel gets really tight, then after a minute loosens up. I have not noticed any leaks on driveway.

For anyone to help you,you need to supply more info than what you have already,for example are you turning left or right,what does the noise sound like and approximately from where,is the car hot or cold is it before or after you apply the brakes.

With the information you have given it could be one of three things. The brake callipers are seized(ing), A worn CV joint, or most probably a bearing hub is failing. Of the three, you should have it checked out as this symptom can lead to an accident(mechanical failure).

the clickin sound you hear is the constant velocity joint in the drive axle. not a good sign, it will need to be repalced
