Yes. As you can see in this video (below), there are MANY reasons you'll be much happier with iPhone than an iPod.

No. The iPhone, in my humble opinion, is not a replacement for an iPod. iPods are all-purpose media players; iPhones are cell phones that happen to have a media player. In other words, the primary focus of iPhone is communication - it plays music and videos, and it plays them better than any other MP3 player, but its storage capacity is too small to replace any standard fifth-generation iPod. If I were you, and I was really considering exchanging my iPod, I'd skip the iPhone and wait for the sixth-generation iPod, which is expected to be released around the same time (Summer 2007). In fact, that is what I'm doing.

Iphones only hold 1,000 or 2,000 songs and cost much more than ipods, which hold a lot more. If you want the convenience of having both things in one package, buy the iphone. But, if you want to hold more music and don't mind having two gadgets, keep the ipod.

I say keep your ipod and your cell phone. Down the road, after other people have test-run the iphone, you can consider it. If you don't have a problem with having 2 gadgets on you, then wait. Plus, since you personally don't think you should, then you shouldn't. Follow your own instinct on things.

Depends on what kind of phone you already have. If its a cool phone, keep it. Also, find out how much memory that Iphone can hold. If its more than ur iPod or about the same, take the phone.

NO because think about it. the iphone is a smart phone with wifi and all that other stuff. on top of paying 500 or 600 dollars on the phone, you could be stuck with 200 dollar a month phone bills. cingular can charge extra for data plans and wifi plans that the iphone has to have.

The iPhone is already out? nicely in any case, in case you intend on paying for it, then promote your iPod for confident. there is no think about having the iPhone and the iPod contact, see because the phone does precisely what the contact does, yet extra. promote it actual :) it will be nicely worth it!

Although Apple is introducing the I-Phone this week, it will not be available for actual sale until June. It will have a pricey introductory sticker point as well. They will then introduce more, cheaper, and possibly even better models later on (just as they did with the MP3 player). Wait until 2008 and then if you are still interested, explore what they have on the market then.
Good Luck!

That depends on whether you have a cell phone or not. If you're satisfied with your current phone situation, I don't think the iPhone would be a good idea.
