SAT Reasoning is a 3 part exam accepted (sometimes required) for college admission. It's the equivalent of the ACT with Writing. The SAT Reasoning has a reading, writing and math section.

The SAT II exams are subject exams. They are required by highly selective schools such as Stanford, or the Universities of California, etc. Most schools that ask for SAT IIs want at least two, maybe three different subjects.

The total possible on the SAT Reasoning is 800 for each section making a total 2400

The total possible on an SAT II is 800 per exam.
