The nitendo ds lite has a brighter screen, it is lighterin weight, it can play gameboy games, all in all the ds lite is better.

I absolutely love my DS Lite. Mine's pink and I got it for my birthday last month.
I just like how nice the graphics are and the games are just oh so much fun.

I like them because they are different colors than the original DS's and because they are more compact, but they do not do anything different than the originals, they simply have been redisgned on the outside to look more futuristic.
