I am currently looking into a modeling career..Im not sure yet what kind of model I want to be. I am 5'9 and I weigh 121 lbs. People are always telling me I should model, now that I want to I just can't seem to figure out how to get started without getting ripped off. So if anyone has reliable information please let me know =) thanks!!

first of all you have what it takes by looking at your photo
5ft 9 that's perfect height and your weight is good also.
It is a good idea to read up on the art of makeup.
your local book store will have great books in this subject usually in the health and beauty section
Find a good photographer in your area
He can help put a composite card for you
during your photo shoot you will want to have different looks.
I don't know what type you want to portray?
Try your local modeling agency's
Stores sometimes all so have fashion shows.You could call around and ask if they are looking for runway models.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO A SCHOOL THAT'S A RIP OFF! AND THERE ARE SCAMS ON THE INTERNET THEY ALSO CAN BE A RIP OFF.good luck

ok lady.t always knows whats best (that's me) ok first always get a lawyer. that way u wont get ripped off. i think maybe u should model. if that's what ur heart says. also, if a person who works for a modling agency, make sure u have a lawyer first. first they will try 2 convice u 2 sign the contract when u dont have a lawyer present. that is the tricky part. yes they will trap u into there cave but other then that. o with ur heart

Don't even spend your money on some Modeling places that are small... there just there to rip you off, trust me... I've been there and done that before... Ford Modeling is one of the Best! modeling agencies there is, one that's not fake and one that's not going to rip you off if they really like and want you...Try Ford Modeling... best place... hope that helps you !!

Take normal photos of yourself, and send them and a description of yourself (hair, eyes, height, weight, dress size, measurements, etc.) to a reputable modeling agency like Ford or Elite.

if u want to model....DO IT!!!!! you can totally do it dont worry what ppl say just follow ur heart u can do it sooooooo send some pictures of yourself to a modeling agency thats seems honest and tell them the usual info then stsrt modeling hope its a BLAST!!!!:)
