I've been in the worship ministry since i was 6. Im on keys. From one church to another because we moved places twice. 6 months ago i voluntarily asked my pastors if i could go off the worship ministry for a while because i was having problems coping with fact that my ex was the drummer and he left for a year and he's back again. i needed to settle myself for a while so that i could perform better as a musician and for the Lord and i got back in the ministry after 3 months. ive been back for only like 3 months in the ministry and i need to go off again because my review classes for my nurses licensure exam are scheduled every sunday's because i have hospital duties on the other days and classes on the remaining days. ill be graduating from college and finishing my degree this march. somebody will be taking over on the piano for a while but he, too, might have to leave the country soon for his work. should i feel guilty? after my review and if God wills i passed i may also leave country

I think you are putting yourself through an unnecessary guilt trip. Certainly God understands, and so does everyone else. You have things you need to take care of. You can always become involved with a ministry later when you have finished your nursing exams, wherever you are.

Are you praying about it? You leave your worship ministry for good cause come back and forth is disrupting the ministry, because one month your here the next your not, so step down.No you shouldn't feel guilty . GOD will fill in the need. Let GOD do the work. Plus you yourself is going to leave. Just make sure you go to church and be feed by the word. May GOD keep you safe on your journey.

you've 2 options. a million. stay in worship minstry and flunk your checks. 2. bypass on your evaluation coaching, bypass over the worship ministry, bypass the checks, and improve up into the vocation of nursing, what God has referred to as you into. now and again advance is uncomfortable.

Pray about it and seek God's will.

I don't think that God will have a problem with your cutting back on your involvement with the worship team for the sake of your career... but pray about it and seek God's will.

And, if He says that it's okay, don't go wasting time when you should be studying (hahahaha).

No, you need to take care of yourself so that you can be of service to the Lord. When you talk about leaving the country, do you mean the States and missionary work?

You should pray about this, but it sounds like a reasonable plan. God has a part for each one of us, maybe He already has someone else in mind for this spot. Good luck to you and God Bless.
