I haven't found this true, actually. My rabbit hates carrots. He likes bananas and cereal.

Bunnies love sweet things and carrots have a lot of natural sugar.

Because of the nutritional values found in carrots. Also it is great for wearing their teeth down. As rodents have a hard enamel on the front of their teeth, the rear of their teeth are not protected by enamel thus wearing them down to prevent overgrowth.

They want the *sugar*.....
Carrots are more like a sugary treat for a rabbit (so are fruits), so they should be given in small quantities. They can upset a rabbit’s digestive system if given too much.

i am going to answer and although quite lost am going to give a guess that you meant why are rabbits attracted to carrots?
Well rabbits are vegetarians or herbivores. they love their vegetables especially carrots because carrots are the sweetest of the lot. To them it is their chocolate.

They're full of sugar. Carrots have too much sugar for everyday, but make great treats. Mine prefer cilantro.
