Well, the person receiving has every right to sell it, but I had a friend ask me for some really nice leather pants I had that I was getting rid of (I was going to give them to someone else), then she turns around a week later and has them in her garage sale. To me that was tacky, if she didnt really want them, then why ask for them?

It's pretty sh*tty to do that. If people are giving something away, it's probably because they're hoping it will go to someone who needs it, not someone who just wants to make a quick buck off their generosity. They could sell it themselves! But they give it away to be nice and help those less fortunate. Don't take advantage of that. Let the people who are in need have the free stuff.

Indian givers. Or should I say white man givers instead. Once you give it it isn't yours any more. the person has the right to do with it what they want.
