When I married my wife, I had a real addiction to porn. I had a hard road to cure myself because I was to ashamed to ask for it.The last year was the end of my long road to freedom but, my wife still thinks it is on my mind 24/7. I love my wife & I would die for her just so she would not have to hurt. WHAT CAN I DO????

How to avoid porn addiction on the Internet

1. Consider installing porn content filtering software( Strongly Recommend NetDog Porn Filter, you can get it from www.netdogsoft.com ) on your computer. it will help to protect you from stumbling into pornography by accident, That's important.

2. Do not try to guess what the address of a Web page is. Many pornographic sites have similar addresses of respectable sites. For example www . whitehouse . com is a porn site. The real address is www. whitehouse . gov

3. Never click on Web site addresses that you receive in an unsolicited email.

4. Do not open attachments that come in email that are unsolicited.

5. Use filtered search engines or reputable directories to find the information you need.

6. Do not search for terms like girls. Think before you enter a search term.

Stick with reputable sites.
If something looks questionable, don't let curiosity get the best of you. Delete it or close the window.

okay, why were you addicted to porn? Or where you addicted to sex period? Was it interferring with everyday normal activities such as eating, sleeping, working, ect..? Then you were an addict. Otherwise, you were just pimpped by your wife to fall into an addicts support group to make new friends, and have something documented in case your wife ever wants to divorce you for not being her fantasy man. go figure! It sounds like you were played. I wish more men will stop being little boys, and stand up for themselves, no matter who she is! In the end not only will the woman love you for it, but she will also respect you for it.

All you can do is show her that you are no longer into porn. It is going to take awhile for her to believe you are a changed man. Us women will never understand the male mind. Men are visual and find it stimulating to look at porn. Us women can care less about it. Not that we do not look at it but it is not a need for us. Just keep showing her that you are a changed man and she will eventually trust you again.

I guess she dosent want to believe that you can give up on the porn, you must have had SOME bad addiction for her to still feel that way? If you really really are not into it any more, try to explain that to her, tell her you overcame the addiction & you're planning to start another one "HER". Maybe that will help? Good luck!

If she had such a problem with the fact that you like porn why in
the name of heavens did she marry you? I believe that she loves
you and it will take time for her to realize that you aren't so obsessed with the whole porn thing anymore. But she needs to know that men do like some porn every now and then. My husband of almost 30 years likes it sometimes and it does not
bother me at all. I love him and I knew that he liked it before we were married. It is just part of who he is.

I think that you should sit down and talk to her and just let her know that if you start feeling like you need to watch it that you will talk to her. Also you may need to put your self into her shoes she may be feeling very inadequate and you are just going to have to put in the time to show her how much you love her and want to only look at her...Talk to her how you are feeling and how sorry you are about how you made her feel. Do this very often.... Ask her how you can help her to feel better and what it is that you can do.. Actions speak much louder then words ever can....

why would you marry anyone when are addicted to anything, and the fact that you say you are cured is BS, you will never be cured, you can only recover fot the rest of your life. And stay the off computer. I'm sure you have it half full of the stuff by now anyway.

You should really ask your wife this question because we as the outsiders won't know what she wants. WHy because we don't know her as much as you do. Tell her that you love her don't tell us that won't be able to help you. It seems like you have locked her out of your life because if you didn't then she wouldn't accuse you for what you didn't do. It's communication that your missing. all it takes is the first step....

This is one of many things that pisses me off about the internet; it's getting easier to access, therefore, ruining more relationhips quicker. ALL MEN, PAY ATTENTION! Stay off the stupid computer and spend time with your wives!! It's not that hard....It's that simple.
