Gaukroger hasn't gotten the credit he deserves. He has two important books on Descartes: "Descartes, An Intellectual Biography" and "Descartes' System of Natural Philosophy." I think a lot of philosophers talk about why Cartesian dualism is wrong, but Gaukroger actually makes the the flaws in Descartes' thinking very clear. Yet it is also he admires Descartes work and his genius. In addition to the Amazon source:

It's Stephen Gaukroger, and his book on Descarte 'Descartes' system of Natural Philosophy' is available on Amazon.

i love it with information from S. King. it is like over 1000 pages and the perfect e book i have ever study. I study that e book numerous circumstances that the ink on the pages the position i might want to touched all started smudging , the cover all started sliding off and some pages did, too. God, i love that e book.
