I was thinking about getting a job during the summer. I'm not sure where yet, but I was wondering if I was able to get one at the age I'm at. I want to try to get one in June, when I'm still 14, but I'll be turning 15 in August. Will I still be able to get a job at that age and could anyone give me any suggestions to where I should look. I don't want a job as a babysitter or anything like that. So please try to keep those suggestions out, thanks for your feedback.

Not sure if this helps but I'm a female. And by the way I do like animals. I'm an all around person so any job should be suitable.

What about a paper route? My sons made great money with them. One even got money for a scholarship program. They are hard work. But there are many different papers. There are some community papers as well as big city papers.

well there isn't too much job opportunity for a 14 year old to get a job. You could look at working at a stable taking care of horses if you are near facilities that need help. You can try veterinary and grooming places to work in the kennel. Some vets will give jobs to 14-15 year olds. You didnt' say whether you liked animals or not.
U could try the department of labor to see if there are any jobs out there that will hire someone as young as you for temporary work in the summer.

The work need to be done is posting/answering a discussion and uploading any photo/image of your interest. For details visit

I will publish few more genuine site in couple of weeks, where you can earn money. You may also write to me at talkofmoney@rediffmail.com (Note: When u are planning for a home based online work, be careful because most of them are scam and ask you to pay initial money. never pay money to any such site.)

Why not start a blog and earn money that way. You can then progress from there to websites. Survey sites do not return enough money for the effort you put in to tell you the truth and I should know I've done it for the past four years and probably made one hundred bucks only.
