What are the cars that keep their value? Honda's, Acura's? What else?

Honda/Toyota then Nissan. Overall. Any car can be a great car but the numbers bear out that these three are the most reliable/have the best repair records & hold their value. If you are buying a car for an investment then you should look at somthing else.

In general, most sports cars and convertibles hold their value a little better, as do high performance cars. Cars are not generally a good investment. A lot of the value rides on how well the car was maintained, the mileage, the rarity of the model, the options that it has, etc.

I would buy what I can afford and what I like and use it the way it was intended to be used. Drive and enjoy.

1. Toyota (especially Camry and Corolla)
2. Toyota

4. Honda
5. Saturn (especially 2000 - 2004 models)

I own a 2000 Saturn SL1, best car I have ever owned, period.
