Get a can of suede cleaner at a shoe store. It comes in an aerosol can and sprays on like a foam. Let it sit on a few minutes. The cap on the can like I get has a stiff plastic bristle brush, use that to scrub and let them air dry overnight. Use some protectant when youre done, it makes a big difference! I do this on my sons shoes all the time, he wears the skater type shoes and this makes 'em look like new.

When it comes to cleaning suede footwear, the old adage "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" definitely applies. Treating your suede or nubuck shoes with a protective spray or finish will help to repel water and prevent stains. If that ship has already sailed, at least you'll know for future reference to protect before wearing. In the meantime, here are some tips for cleaning suede shoes and boots after stains have already set. Remember to first test any treatment or product on a small inconspicuous area before tackling a large stain, and only use products designed specifically for the material of your footwear (suede, nubuck, smooth leather, etc.). For heavy stains on suede footwear, use a suede cleaning block (also called a suede eraser). These products will crumble as you rub them across the surface of the footwear, and are great for removing even deeply embedded dirt. After cleaning, the nap of your suede can be restored by using a suede brush. The bristles of suede brushes are usually made from brass, and often you can find both the cleaning block and the brush in one kit. Joe's Shoe Service is a great source for lots of suede cleaning and care products, and they're all very reasonably priced. Alternatively, your local shoe repair shop might offer many of the same items.

With cleaning Suede shoes there are multiple ways in how to do so. Depending on the substance clinging to your suede shoe.
For if it is gum or wax your first step needed is to place your shoe in the freezer.
Freezing the substance allows you to chip off rather than frustrating yourself.
A Suede brush will be needed for less sticky substances, Suede is a soft grain that is bested to be cleaned with a brush. which can be found in suede cleaning kits.
For harder marks use an eraser, Yes an eraser. It will work the grain well and remove the stuck on substance. once they are clean spray a nice suede protecter on them to prevent future stuck on problems.

You can buy suede cleaner at your local shoe store but the process is long and stinking. I would suggest that next time you but shoes with suede on them buy a suede protectent and it will save you a lot of trouble.

I have some black suede shoes, and I read on the care sheets that you're supposed to spray them with waterproof, or dirt proof or some kind of thing, before you wear them.
But if you can't do that, then, just dont get them wet!!! you can get a special brush, from walmart or some local store, whatever. but don't get a metal one. just brush at the dirt softly, no scrubbing. and be careful with them. that's really all you can do.
