cause sometimes, parents are kinda annoying and u cant help but talk back. but if i talked back, my momma would pop me upside my head so hard... any way, do your parents do sometiong to you when u talk back? like punish u, or whatever? cause if they dont, thats why u talk back!

You are growing up and want your opinion to be respected and want more freedom and repect. However, the best way to be treated with respect is to show it. Meet your obligations. listen to your parents opinions, respect their rules and regulations and you should start to see them treat you more like an adult. What you're doing is pretty normal. but, I can understand your desire to be treated more like an adult. It will come and if you do what I recommend, I think it will happen sooner rather than later. Bc you want to be the one in control instead of them all the time? Or bc you want them to punish you.
And the above poster is wrong...the more I got slapped for talking back, the more I did it. It was a defiance sort of thing.
