Nothing. Ask a cop, he'll tell you the same. There is the reality of pot, then there is the law. I read a great op ed piece in the OC Register about 3 Sundays ago. It gave pot the thumbs up over :
alcohol, most of the doctors prescription drugs. No recorded deaths in the history of medical records. Booze kills numerous people every year.
It's non- toxic
We are free men, to do as we please. To each his own.

The things that are wrong with it are some of the same things that are wrong with drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco. Additionally, of course, weed is illegal in many places, though that is gradually changing. In my opinion it is certainly no more dangerous than alcohol or tobacco.
Unlike tobacco and alcohol, weed has some medicinal benefits for people with cancer or anyone suffering chronic pain. It stimulates the appetite, contributes to a sense of well being, and changes the perception of pain and so increases comfort.
The weed issue is likely to be around for a while. Did you know that weed was initially made illegal in the US because cotton farmers were worried that hemp would take some of their market? I found it quite interesting to learn that piece of trivia.

The problem with smoking weed with people or by yourself is that you all "demons" to manifest in you. What do I mean? When I was in the Army, there was this white guy who claimed to be a neo nazi. He would always come down to my room to play chess, because he said he wanted to exercise his superior race over me. I usually beat him. But then he started smoking weed when I would play him. I noticed there was something different about him when he smoked weed. I could not put my finger on it. Then God showed me, you are playing against a demonic spirit, that's why you can not beat him now. But my point is that when you lose control of your senses, you open yourself to the presence of demons. It is the same with drinking alcohol or smoking any other type of drugs. Also, this is why it is so hard to bring down or control people who are under the influence of some kind of drug. The demonic spirits which come over them operate in the supernatural and have supernatural strength. The bible clearly says you can not fellowship with demons and God.

i don't smoke weed any more but i still don't think there is any thing wrong with it the only reason it is not legal is that the cotton, oil and pharmicutical companies woul loose there asses not to mention the alchol and tobacco companies i also think it is safer and better for people than alchol maybe one day it will be legalized. i also can't wait for my kids to grow up and go to college so that ican once again light up but there is too much at stake for me if i get caugt breaking the law when you have kids you need to priortise but if it was legal i would have no problem being a parent and partaing smokeing it it better and not as dibilating as alchol...

There's nothing wrong with it!!! It's safer than drinking alcohol. It's safer than smoking cigarettes. No one has ever died from smoking weed. It's ridiculous that it's illegal. This is just another way the government is trying to control us. We should have the freedom to put what we want in our bodies as long as we don't hurt anyone. I don't condone drug use, but I am not going to be the one telling you you CAN'T do it.

smoking weed kills brain cells so smoking hurts you. but you should have the freedom to do to yourself whatever you want to do as long as it doesn't affect others safety.but be careful getting it home.if you get caught it will cost you about $2,000 in fines,2 months in level 2 drug classes,8+ n.a. meetings, and 6 months supervised probation for your first offense which is a misdemeanor.get caught again, felony, straight to jail!

Even though it is illegal, I think there is nothing wrong with doing it in the privacy of your own home....drinking to me is far worse...and it is legal, once you are of age of course...of all that is out there, I would say that weed is the lesser of all evils.

The poor spelling and grammar in this question is a prime example of why weed is bad.

I don't think there is anything wrong with using it for your personal use, I think the problems come into play when you start selling it.

Nothing is wrong with it and it should be legal. It is much safer and healthier than alcohol. That is just one of many screwed up laws in this "free" country.
