You did nothing wrong. The wet look protects the dash from the sun rays. Just take a clean dry towel and wipe the surface. It will take the wet and sticky look away. It will just leave the dashboard with a shiny look to it.

I use Armor All on my car's interior & it always has a shiny look to it even hours or days later. If it indeed feels "sticky" to you, then mix up little bit of Dawn dish soap & hot water, wash the dash down, rinse with clear water, dry the surface, then reapply the Armor All. Armor All is safe for your car's interior, it's a protectant, so don't let anyone tell you differently.

i work with cars.... the oily surface that is left behind is a uv ray protecter. that is the main function that armor all has.. it can be removed with either window cleaner or water...the best thing to do is use white vinegar mixed with water in a 50/50 ratio.. i hope this helps and good luck

It shouldn't cause any damage but DO NOT use rubbing alcohol on your window like someone else suggested. It will dry out the rubber seals and cause them to crack possibly causing a leak in your windshield. Just use a good Windex or other window cleaner and you will be ok.

if not mistaken, that is normal for armor all.it will disapate in a week or so.after the sun hits it.if you dont like it,use the cleaner type wipes to get it off.or maybe use a window cleaner such as 20/20.it doesnt do as much harm as say windex to the interior
