How a post-secondary education will enable you to make a positive contribution to your country's society?

Well, I'm still trying to figure that out. :) I'm a senior in college right now, majoring in sociology. When I graduate I'm hoping to work as a victim's advocate while going to graduate school for a master's in mental health counseling. So hopefully later I can make a contribution by helping people help themselves to get past whatever life throws at them.

Depends on what your degree is.

If you get a bachelor's degree in something like Ancient French Poetry it's pretty hard for you to make a positive contribution to your country's society.

by getting a degree--it makes me more able to find employment
