Actually, there's any official agency that does. Definitely no federal agency, unless there is a complaint and the Federal Trade Commission gets involved. (very unlikely).

Other than that, any investigations would be done at the state level (unlikely also). If there's a lawsuit involved from a client, then the client's lawyer would make sure the incident is investigated.

But the waiver you sign when you go in probably has a clause in it about litigation.

There is a serious lack of regulation in this industry. It's all about the money. They make a fortune and they don't give a crap.

Depends on who runs it. There is actually very little regulation in the field.
