I have no beef with the states. I do have a problem with ignorant comments about my country (Canada) from uneducated Americans. They make the rest of you look bad.

I've answered this question so many times. I have now narrowed it down to 3 reasons. I will try to be brief.
1) Your President is seen as an uneducated war-mongering buffoon. We all recognise that America is the world's only superpower and leader of the free world. That's why we are angry and worried. Because there is an uneducated war-mongering buffoon running a superpower and leader of the free world. That's just dangerous. This is the main reason.
2) When Americans say we are jealous. Of what? I don't get that. I live in the suburbs of London in a 4 bedroom house with running water and central heating. I am a bilingual graduate with a good job. What is it I'm jealous of?
3) When Americans say the US is great because it's free. The insinuation is that other countries are not. Seeing as my country was democratic before US even existed, this causes anger. Virtually all of Europe is free and democratic. Some Americans cite the freedom to bear arms as a way of showing they are more free. But Europeans don't want handguns. Psychologically, the freedom to bear arms just isn't something that we consider when thinking about a free country.

So, OK, not so brief, but there you go. Most importantly, about from a very few hardline socialists in Germany, especially, we don't hate America and we certainly do not hate Americans. We just worry about what it's doing.

the country's good, there are some stuff with every country that's not so good. For the US, it's the image that people don't like. That big brother image, or world police type of image. Nobody likes a nosy person, and the US is perceived to be the ultimate nosy person, involving themselves in other countries' affairs. Now, i don't know if that's true or not, but again, it's the perception out there.

The other thing is because of your superior arm forces, most Americans have an arrogance about them. That's ok, because the armed forces lets you feel confident. But when the confidence comes out across as arrogance, that's annoying.

Another - ignorance. Most Americans don't know anything about other countries, including Canada, their next door neighbor. Example, I was in Dallas talking to some folks, and they asked me, "How do we Canadians heat up an igloo?" don't laugh, they were serious.

I think it is because of the foreign policies that the government puts in place. Also there are many ignorant people that live in the states that think they should be the centre of the universe. I'm from Canada , and some of the comments that I heard American make about other countries floors me. I know that there are many open minded and educated people from the US but those that aren't give everyone else a bad name

Take a look around you - outside of the United States. Look at what we are doing to the world. How many deaths are we responsible for? What has our leader done in the name of God? It is no wonder to me why so many people hate us. Since this country was formed we have been stepping on peoples toes - claiming that this and that are ours. Don't get me wrong, I love my rights. I like the security I feel when I am at home. My state is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful. I do not agree with, however, the deaths that have been upon this country in the name of freedom. We have no tolerance for other nations. It is our way or no way at all. Not everyone wants to be like us - yet we force it upon them anyway. That right there, is why so many people hate the United States. Good Day.

Scene kids are just posers, pretending to be non-comformists but then they all looking the same. They'll grow out of it eventually. What I really hate is that most major stores are now catering for this particular style, so now it's even harder to walk into a shop & find some decent clothes; you're just bombarded with little girl clothes in bigger sizes. Ugh.

In my opinion, it's the US Government itself. Americans in general are great people.
It's US politics and their idiotic policies they try to ram down other Countries throats that irritate the rest of the world.

My only complaint is that almost all Americans don't know anything about other countries, including mine, Canada.
Hell, just got back from a Cruise on NCL out of NYC and not many on that ship even heard of Toronto. lol, and yeah, we do have a baseball team and an NBA team. Shesh

i live in the U.S. and i hate most of it.
I think it is the GReAT SATAN everywhere i go People are are So evil that I am hunted like a animal of prey.
I see rapists, sodomites, kidnappers, even canibalists.

I see a presidency that is BOUGHT and Paid for by foreign investors, i see a president that was assasinated because he would bow down to those that Bought his position. I see a democracy undermined by people who change elections with false chads and poison the best of people to overtake the high places of government with Wickedness.
This country has its Honest people, but getting elected into high offices of government does meant any of them Got there.
When there were only 2 choices for president i find that both of them were skull and bones, there was really NO freedom of choice or election of the people. it was bought by big MONEY and it was HYPED by big MEDIA.
why couldnt the OTHER presidential candidates PARTICIPATE in the presidential debate? why not? because they were Illegally deprived and ARRESTED for trying to get in.

Get over it. Who cares what someone else has to say when it's a load of malarkey. Most of the nonsense people spout off about is just a way to get attention.

Focus on yourself. Ignore the rest. Find peace and happiness within.

Its not because of problems in the US, its the problems the US causes to many other countries.

It interferes almost everywhere else.

Philippines, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Somalia...

And doesn't do anything about Cuba, except build a torture camp there.

Americans have a worldwide tendency to be brash and arrogant. Also, Americans know very little about the world outside of the USA. They are looked at as being not very well travelled and when they do travel outside the U.S. they are often seen as insensitive to their surroundings.
