I am having a problem with a leak in my car. For some reason everytime it rains it leaks into the passenger side floor board. The water leaks in from some where under the glove compartment. Please help.

Most likely it is the seal on the windshield. Get an auto glass shop to check it. There is that rubber gasket all around, and an adhesive to hold the windshield so that it is part of the support system of the car, but also seal out water.

Pull the cowl panel loose from the base of the windshield. Look on the right side and see if its plugged with anything. Next thing I would do is crawl under the the dash with a flash light and have an assistant spray various parts of the car down with water while you attempt too look for a leak.

I would take it to a mechanic. It sounds like it could be something that rusted, thus now you it leaks into the car. If it cost to much to repair, (although it should not) it will be time for a newer used car. The other suggestion is to go to a store that sells nothing but items for cars and ask a salesperson if there is something they could suggest to help with the leak (rust).

Are you sure it only happens when it rains?
That is usually a spot that gets wet when the heater core is going out, check and see if it smells like antifreeze, if so you need to replace the heater core.
