Flamingo is edible, but it tastes "fishy". You also need to take local laws into consideration, it may not be legal to eat flamingo where you are...

According to militray survival guides, most birds and all fur bearing mammals are edible. I would believe them to be edible, but I am not sure how paletable they would be. There are also local, state and federal laws to look into before you should attempt something like this. I would believe them to have a somewhat shrimp flavor as the pinkness is a result of the shrimp and krill they eat.
Thinking about it, I sort of remember stories of early settlers to Florida eating them and not being fond of the taste.

Yes, I suppose if we can eat flies and cockroaches, eating flamingos shouldn't be a problem.

Did n't you see the sign by the flamingos' enclosure..NO SCOFFING THE BIRDS!!...So the answer is No. Are they edible?..Yes so overall the answer is

yes but wouldn't it taste fishy. since it eats shrimps and thats why its pink. you can eat almost anything so they probably would be on the menu somewhere.
