Believe it or not, my Hoover requires a 12V wedge-type bulb (the kind you find inside a car in the overhead light). So, instead of going to a vacuum repair store, I went to an auto parts store to get the bulb!
Remove the burned out bulb from your vacuum and take it to the auto parts. They'll help you match it up.

any place that sells vacs!! wal-mart, lowes, borg all have sections to buy lites, bags, belts etc.....
