Ok, which is better? What I'm wondering about is the battery, the cheapest, and which one messes up less. About how much does each cost and where can I get a cheap one?

I have had the same iPod mini since they came out and I've never had any trouble. The battery lasts forever, and it has never messed up. I paid $200 for mine, it has 4GB and holds 1000 songs. They don't make iPod minis anymore, but I hear the new iPod nanos ($200 and holds 1500 songs, I believe) are great too. I think the less technology on one machine, the better (who really needs an 80GB iPod and who wants to watch movies on a 4 inch screen?!) I would trust iPods more, because they are a more respected brand, but it's up to you. Good luck!

I would suggest Ipod. I have an Ipod myself and my brother has a MP3.Neither need batteries you just plug it into your computer. MP3 is less expensive, but Ipod is better. It's very complicated to get songs on MP3 but with Ipod you can just download or buy songs. Ipod is more expensive but is better.

An ipod is better. An mp3 is cheaper.You can buy a cheap one at Circuit City or Best Buy.

the cheap one is the mp3 the one yhat dosent mess up is the i-pod
you can get a kiss i have one and its cheap and ive droped it a millon times and it works like new you can take pictures listen to music,watch videos and movies ,play games and record sounds only for 150-170$ dollars

well ive alwayz had the mp3. they say the ipod's better in battery. i just got the zune overall its good bout the same price as the ipod..
