It's all part of a gimmick, it's Everton way of attracting more people to Goodision Park and it's a way of Sky promoting his new Rocky film. They both need each other.

Two of Everton's former directors, Paul and Anita Gregg (who are married) sold their shares to Robert Earl, who is founder of the Planet Hollywood restaurant chain which was originally endorsed by Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore in return for share options in the chain.
Stallone is in Britain to promote his forthcoming Rocky film, and was invited by Earl to the match.
