If I could only see or do one thing at Walt Disney World, honestly, I'd go to the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort to watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. I really feel like I'm at home when at Disney's Polynesian Resort and there are speakers around so you can hear the narration and music for the show. It's such an amazing experience on a warm summer's night.

I have been to Walt Disney World two times in my life and found many things to see and do. For me the two things I would pick to see if my days are limited would be Disney's Animal Kingdom and Epcot Center. Disney's Animal Kingdom is a safari into the world of animals and see how Disney takes care and preserve the wildlife. It is truly remarkable to see their entire zoological land and how the animals are free to roam.
Epcot Center is Disney's world into the many cultures and countries. You will see the many sites from around the world dedicated to the different ethnic nationalities. From their foods, to their dances and landmarks, you shall be amazed.

I'd go to the Epcot Center. They did have an incredible laser light show around 10pm... not sure if it still exists today.
Note, you can visit Pleasure Island and Downtown Disney for free, so don't miss out!
