well.. i think it's because there are too many ppl going to fortune tellers. I don't think they look u up because not everyone's information is in their computer. I have been to a fortune teller before without making an appointment and he still could tell my past.

Do you know how many people go to fortune tellers? Appointments make smooth encounters, not hectic. it makes an easy in and out, instead of people popping in whenever, interrupting the routine. It's just being professional.

Appoitnment are needed so they find out what makes you tick, what you do, who you know. Then they use this to try to convince you they are genuine.
If there was such a thing as a genuine fortune teller, course they'd know but they wouldn't be waiting for your call - they'd already have won the lottery

Well I went to one who told me I'd never have children but that I'd be an Aunt to 4! At the time I had 2 and my sisters and brothers between them had 14, Good wasn't she and yes I too had to make an appointment!

they tell your fortune idiot...they arent telekinetic or even pychic
most modern fortune tellers have more ancient methods such as using the hands and physical presence

this is so they can study you and get info on you off the internet to tell you about your past while you are there so you will believe what they are telling you about your future.
