I majored in mathematics and went on to become a Mechanical Engineer and worked in automotive for 12 years then moved and now work in aerospace.
I continually take courses in CAD to keep my skill level up and it pays!
It pays quite well.

I was a Social Science major emphasizing in psych, sociology and organizational leadership. The only thing I plan on doing with it is what I've done already....apply for jobs that require a BA that previously were off limits to me.
Seriously though, I've used my degree in the following jobs: university academic counseling and currently as an insurance adjuster. It's not my dream job, but I'm really good at it and will soon transition into our HR/Training department where I can actually put what I learned in college to use.

Biology. I'd planned on going into field research, but found they didn't hire with just a Bachelor's. (I'm not the lab tech. type) I ended up teaching about science and nature instead, outdoor education stuff. Found I was good at it, and liked it.
Now I'm getting a Master's in Environmental Interpretation. I hope to work at a nature center, in charge of their education programs.

Psychology...
I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with it yet... I know I don't want to teach it as a subject anywhere, though. Maybe I'll become a child psychologist, who knows?
