It's old blood cells, It's not uncommon, 3-4 days of it sounds like a long time, but everyone is different. If you have no discomfort I doubt it's anything to worry about. You can always discuss it with your GYN at your next appointment. Don't be embarrassed to ask your GYN about any of your concerns, your paying them for their knowledge.

The whole point of menses is to pass the lining of the uterus. If you are still passing a dark blood after your period, call your OB-GYN and make an appointment.

This is not a normal thing and could be something very simple to correct, but your doctor needs to check you out. don't wait, call tomorrow and get that appointment.

That can be what is referred to as old blood. It is like the left over blood from previous cycles. If you start to have extreme pain with it then see a Doctor.

At the end of my cycle I have a very dark brown discharge as well, and it is normal. If you experience pain or a very strong odor, it would probably be best to ask your doctor (or visit a health clinic). Especially if you have ever been sexually active. They can make sure you don't have an infection of some sort.

I know everyones period is different, but I get that strange, blackish blood on the last day or 2 of my periods, I always have so I just figure it's normal.
