You can only hope for the best of those two. If you tell your best friend that you like him, she might end up not being your friend, and since the boy likes her and not you, he might feel awkward if he finds out, so you lose both the boy and your best friend.

talk to your friend about it.but DONT let any boy come between you and your friendship with your friend.it is just not worth it.if you feel at all that this will cause any problems with your friend then forget him.he is not worth it and you can do much better.talk to your friend and tell her he is not worth destroying are friendship over and ask her if she wants to go somewhere with you like to the mall or movies and both try to find someone else.neither one of you should date this boy you like.its not worth causing any problems with your friend over.just move on it will be more worth it if you do.trust me it will.because friendship is very important .more important then a boy your not even sure your going to be really happy with.best of luck to you to you both.and remember,friends are like blood and blood is thicker then water.

Just be nice and pleasant to both of them. This is hard. I had this problem alot growing up. But I tried not to let my hurt show when they were around each other and sometimes when the guy and the girl split, then we would be together. Or else I would see what a rat the guy really was, and thank goodness I wouldnt have to experience it. Good Luck.

Well, I would say tough luck if she likes him too. If he knows you like him too but chooses your friend anyway, then the only thing you could do is wait for them to break up. If he doesn't know you like him you should subtely let him know, so he can choose. Unless he is one of those really shallow boys,..which there are a lot of, then he should pick one of you based on how well he thinks you guys could get along.

become friends with the boy but back off. you don't want to come on too strong. your friend is here to stay but you may end up finding out that the guy is a jerk...or realize that you never really liked him that much. play it cool and see where the situation goes.

leave him alone, there's nothing you can do because he likes your best friend and she likes him back. I know it will be hard to get over him and you'll probably get jealous every time you see them together. but just try to get a new interest. and forget about that guy.

You go about your business and leave it alone. There will be times in life when you like someone and they won't feel the same for you...or someone will like you and you won't feel the same for them. It's just part of dating and socializing with others.

if you really like him this is what you can do
1)You can tell him how you feel and hope he returns the feelings because he probably doesnt really like her but cant tell unless he meets everybody on the playing field first.
2)Let it happen and wait.

well your bestfriend and yours friendship is more important than any guy , so im sure it would ruin your friendship if you started to flirt with him , she would most likely get mad , maybe later if your friend gets over him than you hould see if hes open
