I think the women get the better of the deal

There's an old saying, says "it takes a village to raise a child". In that respect only, I think a family with several mother figures would not be a bad thing for a child.
And I think running a household with others who are concerned about the same household, might be beneficial. What I can't figure out, is why any woman
in her right mind, would truly want to share ONE man with two or six or a dozen other women. I can see doing a commune or something, where everybody does everybody. Whatever floats your boat...lol. But one man to offer emotional support, intellectual conversation, and everything else a husband should be to his wife...I just can't see it happening. Here's an interesting article I found for you. http://www.context.org/ICLIB/IC10/Anapol.htm

I beleive that it is a means of institutuinalizing numerous sex partners and abuse of woman and children.. I beleive that polygamy groups in the south weest should have all of their assessts frozen and those that want to continue to violate federal law should be arrested. I beleive that this is not a question of religious freedom but of rape and abuse.

men having as many *** 20+ wives and 75 + children is just wrong....great for the husband but come on....how can that be a healthy environment...most of them live in colonies which means that the children are home schooled and never see normal families...I couldn't imagine sharing my man with 1 other person let alone 20....if they wouldn't bring children into the picture I would say hey it is your life do with it what you may..but when you bring babies into this world where daddy has 19 other wives and he has 74 brothers and sisters it is just WRONG....

I wish to be a polygamist one day, not with tons of wives, just 2, mabye 3. Many people say it is wrong, but why should it be? The women obviously give their consent, and it's a free country. Then comes the issue of religion, most Christians and Catholics say that its wrong, that marriage is sacred between a man and a woman. But A: Couldn't it be sacred between a man and a woman many times? B: not everyone believes the same, there are many different religions. and C: Christianity did not create marriage, in fact pagans were the first people to marry.

I think the traditional form practiced is pretty sexist and backwards, considering my only source of knowledge for this has been tv or magazines.

One night on and six nights off. Not a bad deal as long as you get to live in the mansion.
