Yes!!!
The Democrats do think the people are stupid.
They got that from Lenin: "the masses are asses". To be used and abused.
I used to be a Democrat, and I was stupid. They used me. Exploited me. And kept me down & poor.
I escaped the Democrat Plantation.
I wish everyone could. It's not easy. It takes years of hard work and sacrifice. BUT WELL WORTH IT.

Exactly. They offer nothing. They were swept in on anger at Republicans. Pelosi promises lots in the first 100 hours. She gave Del Monte a freebie by not including American Samoa in minimum wage deal. No reporting from the liberal media. Then she tries and put Jack Murtha as Majority Leader, when he is caught on tape violating ethics and not refusing a bribe. Then we have impeached judge Alcee Hastings who was to be head of a major committee head.
Then we have the promised bipartisanship, which has been none of. Republicans are not allowed to offer amendments, which would normally be ok had they not promised otherwise.

Who's stupid? As I recall, the Generals wanted more troops in the beginning of the war to make it easier to stop what has since happened, namely, a drastic increase in militias' strength & resulting increase in insurgency attacks.. If they had been whipped then , when they had less people & resources, we might have a reasonably secur4e Iraq today. Bush & his gang said, "NO", against the advice of his military commanders on the ground in Iraq.
And I read the link, WHICH IS DATED 18MONTHS AGO. Thus it has no bearing on what is going on today. It also quoted Bush, who said, "
Now, over 3 years later, he wants to increase troop strength., again against the advice of his military commanders. The Generals are now saying, "It's too damn late now for more troops unless it is for the long haul" Obviously, the voters still remember Viet Nam and the huge losses sustained as a result of that war.To begin with, we don't have any fresh troops, the proof being some units are now in their 3rd deployment in Iraq.
You may have noticed that nowhere have I mentioned Democrats so far. THEY are listening to the experts, the generals on the ground. When you consider that Bush, Cheney, & his civilian advisers have NO military experience between them (except Bush I), I would listen to the real military experts, which is exactly what the Democrats have done, consistently.
Now who would YOU say the dummies are now?? How dumb do you think we are?

Most political machines think they can sway many people just by making noise. Usually they have an agenda and rarely have ideas. Now Hillary is saying we need more troops in Afghanistan but won't mention how many. As Commander in Chief she can't speculate how many. She would have to make a decision. Something for us to worry about in the future, huh?

I really think Democrats are missing a chromosome! The point isn't whether they think the American public is stupid, or has a short memory, the point is that Democrats bring stupidity and hypocrisy to new heights with every passing year.
Anyone who does not agree should read the (very entertaining) book, "Do As I Say, Not As I Do: Profiles In Liberal Hypocrisy"

it amazes me that the left cant seem to see the forest for the trees, they whine and say we just follow along like sheep, when in reality they do.I voted Rep,in the last election and I know a lot of right wingers voted Democrat to send a message for change, which proves my party does have a brain cell.I just wished the American people could look past their short term(2 week)memory and not only remember the past, but visualize the future, and what ramifications could happen if we back off and become a kinder-pacifist,castrati nation

they obviously do.
i just read awhile ago someone claiming that they'd told "us" from the beginning that Iraq had no WMD's, that Saddam had no ties to terrorism, and a whole load of garbage. i was too busy to go look up quotes from all the democrats, including Bill Clinton and Al Gore, as far back as 1998, wherein they were claiming that Saddam was going nuclear and that we could not sit and let it happen.

All they want is to get to power in 2008, and become the big corporations patsy, that's all they want. About Irak, all they want is to confuse and make sure that Republicans loose in Irak, so they could say ,,,You see I told you,, but they don't have a plan to win and they don't care to win as long as they win the 2008 elections.

The Democrats are so anti-Bush that no matter what he does, they are going to oppose. This totally blows any credibility that they have. They are single minded in being anti Bush that they are forgetting what is best for the country and our futures.

Yes, they do in fact think we are all stupid. In their eyes there are no breed of people as superior and in lightened as them. That is why they target low income areas to draw votes from, people who dint have the tools to remain educated about the issues. That way they can sit atop the world pointing and shaking their finger.
