There aren't any male birth control pills on the market. It wouldn't be a good idea for a male to take female contraceptive pills, because the hormones could mess up his body chemistry - they might cause him to lose body hair, grow breasts, lose the ability to have an erection, change his voice, lose muscle mass, etc.
There might be cases where a doctor prescribes female contraceptive pills to a man to on purpose. It might help with certain illnesses - for instance prostate cancer can be slowed by suppressing testosterone, so maybe adding female hormones would help too. If so, the doctor will pick the particular pill very carefully, based on the circumstances. Likewise, if the hormones are needed for sex change purposes, the doctor will pick the pills very carefully.
So it isn't wrong for a male to take birth control pills, but it might be very dumb, unless there is a doctor involved.

Why would he take birth control pills? I guess you could use it as a form of Hormone Replacement Therapy...to give you a little more feminine edge...but it's definitely not going to prevent pregnancy in the female. Really reconsider this!!!

It depends - does he want breasts? Birth control pills contain estrogen, a female hormone.

It depends on if he wants to be a woman or not. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it. It's not all it's cracked up to be.
