Ok, which is better? WHat I'm wondering about is the battery, the cheapest, and which one messes up less. About how much does each cost and where can I get a cheap one?

Ipods - The battery lasts quite awhile, generally longer then Mp3s. They are more expensive though coz it is a well known brand. It does mess up occasionally.. but if you look after it, and do everything right, it shouldnt mess up.
Mp3S - The batteries last awhile... but not as long as the ipods. Although some mp3s do. You can get mp3s as cheap as $50 but as expensive as $500, like the new Zune from Microsoft. You can get cheap Mp3s from almost any electronics store, or Kmart, basically anywhere. They are everywhere these days.

Ipod, I have a 5th Generation Ipod Video that's 1 year old and I've had no problems with it so far, battery life is great, it is also a better brand than all mp3's out there and they are very cheap. I heard that there are ipod videos at ebay for only $199 and $ 225 at circuit city and walmart. Hope this helps you out. The price is for the30 GB unit.

ipod is better but mp3 is ok too the ipod costs about $190 and mp3 player costs about $100

its according to what u looking for, i brought a ipod for xmas, becuase i have such a large collection of music and i love listening, i also have a mp3 player, the mp3 has less storage, but plays excellent, the ipod has more storage, and plays excellent very clear, also the ipod lets u store photos, play videos as well, ipod was 189.00, my mp3 player was 49.99, as i said according to what u looking for, ipod i can save up to 1000 songs, with mp3, i only had storage for 150 songs, i now save all my songs from my mp3 to my ipod.

an ipod they are so much better than an mp3player because ive had both ipods are very proffesinal get a ipod

get the iriver clix. it is alot better than ipod. i got a 4gb iriver clix for $200 from amazon.com.
