I am 100% positive that they will not be killing Harry Potter in the fifth movie: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. For one thing there are two more movies and he's in both of them and in the book a big character did die but it was not Harry. Now, for the seventh book, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," it's just rumors and I don't think anyone will really know who dies until it comes out.

Harry will not die in the next Harry Potter movie scheduled to be released in July called Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Harry will also survive the next Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, since he survived the book by the same title (Book 6.)
However, there is always the possibility that Harry will end up dying in the 7th (and final) book of the Harry Potter series which is set to be called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And if his character dies in this novel, I'm assuming that the filmmakers will stay true to the novel and Harry will die on-screen as well.
While no release date has been set yet for this book because JKR hasn't finished writing it, JKR has warned that there will be character deaths in this final novel. Is Harry one of them? That is up for you and your sister to ponder along with the rest of us.

NO, it's not true. Harry does not die in The Order of the Pheniox, if He is going to die it will be in Book 7: Harry Potter & The Deathly Hollows
Edit: J.K. Rowling said that Two main characters will die in book seven. Not counting Voldemort or any other evil characters I'd say Harry, and either Hagrid or Neville.

No it's not true. The next movie is Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix and no he doesn't die. Otherwise there wouldn't be a sixth movie called HARRY POTTER and the Half-Blood Prince. The 6th movie wouldn't be called Harry Potter and [...] if he dies in the 5th.

He will not be killed in the next movie. However in the next book there are rumors that Harry will die due to the prophecy. One of them has to die which will presumably be Voldemort but since this is the final book and JK Rowling probably does not want to be hounded to write more Harry Potter books she will probably make them both die meaning neither good nor evil triumph.

No. They aren't going to kill him. There are seven books. So there have to be seven movies, or else J.K. Rowling will be the one having the cow. ;] I've heard rumors that he might be dying in the 7th book/movie, just because they need a way to end the series. But definitely not the fifth.

well, if the movies are based on the books, wouldnt it be funny if harry dies in the movie but not in the book. i suggest if anyone even remotely likes harry potter pick up the books and stop watchin the movies. the books explain everything much better.

Of course not. If they killed him in the fifth movie, how would there be a sixth movie? Though, there is talk that he'll die in the seventh book, but those are just rumors. Although, someone does die in the fifth book... But not Harry.

He doesn't die in the new movie or the one after that

they can't kill harry potter in the fifth book. in the 6th albus dies, they say in teh seventh harry wil die:(
