Shopping at Walmart is just a lot of pain in the neck, once you got in the middle area of the place, you will be lost and it will be difficult to get out easily. I think they do it intentionally so you will buy something else. I just hope when there is a fire you can find your way out fast.

You're not the only one that hates Walmart.

I have two Walmarts close to my home. One is in Missouri and the other in Illinois. I'm between both. The are like night and day. I use the one in Illinois because it's so much more peaceful. I'm in, relaxed when I shop, and then out. If I go to the other location, I have to prepare for battle. People are fighting for parking spaces, the customers and staff are rude, etc. We also have a 24 hr Walmart in St. Charles, Missouri which is 40 minutes away and the only Walmart my sister shops at. I think it just depends on the location of the Walmart.

I hate that I find it necessary to go there at times. For paper products, detergents or anything that I can find I prefer to use Dollar Tree,Dollar General or Family Dollar. The groceries at Walmart are outrageous. I typically shop there only for dog/cat foods. What annoys me more than even the parking lot is the announcements made by the employees like every 3 seconds. I've had to ask the manager a few times to turn the volume down as it was hurting my ears. And the parents who take their kids there to play is just crazy. The crying, screaming kids make me want to tell a few parents off. The parents act as though the wailing kids aren't bothering them at all. My kids never behaved that way-at home or in a public place.

Oh my god, I hate Walmart. I NEVER shop there unless I'm really low on cash (since they are generally less expensive than other grocery stores). It's fun to go there in the middle of the night, though, when you're bored - very interesting to see that people will actually drag their children out for some shopping at 3 am.

Everyone has to shop at Wal*mart because the prices are so low. However it's a nightmare. Most of the customers don't speak English and kids are running around hanging off every shelf and cart with no supervision what so ever.

It's hard to find things and they don't carry things they should. And when you go to check out it takes forever! They treat their employees so badly that they are always understaffed. Don't even get me started on the parking lot.

I must live near an upscale Walmart. I can't relate to any of that.
It's nice, clean, organized and I live in an affluent suburb.
I like to be smart with my money, and I save so much on necesseties. (toothpaste, paper towels, toilet paper, deoderant, etc.) They charge much more at Jewel or any of the grocery stores - so I make two lists: 1) groceries 2) Walmart

When I'm feeling down in the dumps and think that my life sucks and I want to feel better about myself I just go to Walmart.

No. Just go there more often so you familiarize yourself with the layout. Where I come from, the clothes are on one end and the garden center on the other. Shoes, Lay-A-Away and restrooms are in the center in the back. Depending where you enter, you go by the cashiers, photo, optical, pharmacy, OTC remedies and cosmetics, pets, garden, around corner is toys, housewares, seasonal, groceries, and so it goes . . . .
