It is 'China in your hand' by T'pau, who is incidently named after the famous Vulcan Priestess in Star Trek the Original Series

It`s the in-joke Carol Decker was the singer for T`Pau whose single "China In Your Hand" is playing - Tea tastes better in China cups hence the choice of music.
