On prime time tv why can you say ***** on tv but you cant say son of a ***** on tv. how come you can say *** on tv but cant say asshole.

when you say god, maybe it could mean in a way of prayer. when you say damn you really want to show how po'd you are. but when you put them together, youre really asking god to damn that person, etc. to hell. i guess it's really stupid, but otherwise, if they allowed it, idiots who are looking for something to criticize would have a field day!

Because the words alone mean diffreent thing than when they are put together. Technically, ***** means a female dog, *** means donkey, but when they are put together they are derogatory terms which is why they can't be on tv.
