i am a cancerian female with a saggitarius moon. he is virgo with capricorn moon. i am led to believe we are quite compatible?
trouble is, he only recently came out of a 6 year relationship with a scorpio. the split was mutual.
how would our relationship compare with the relationship he had with her? and how do virgoan men tend to deal with the end of a love affair? should i be wary that he's simply rebounding?
i do realise that astrology can't fully account for this situation :s

Depends on their relationship and why it ended. If there was cheating involved then there will be no reconciliation..if it were things that could be been fixed then there may be a chance. You mentioned the split was mutual maybe they had communication problems or they argued a lot about their differences. Virgos usually think and analyze what went wrong and how they could've fixed things in the relationship. If they're still friends then he may go back to her some day...depends on how much love was there. Most virgos always holds a place in their hearts for past loves. So I would definitely keep your eyes open in this relationship. With your cancer moon and sagi planet it would work great. Cancer is nurturing caring and family/home oriented while sagi is fun loving and lively. Best of both signs.

Don't get caught up in the false & meaningless accounts of astrology. The rebound is what I'd be worried about. You can't compare relationships anyway. The astrology is inaccurate since its' inception to try to describe motions in the sky. It has nothing to do with human events. Read up about Copernicus and Galileo to find out what that's actually all about. The question is: Do you complement each other?

sure:Virgo This year, your love for harmony, beauty and balance allows room for growth in your personal relationships. Partnership energy is at a new level of being that enlivens and invigorates both of you. Feeling emotionally and playfully engaged with your partner is a must. Lots of weekends away to relax and detach from serious realms of thinking and spending time in sensuous, gentle environments will keep your relationship fresh. Security may manifest as a need for a home environment that is completely safe and very cozy. You have unusually clear insight into your own unconscious motivations, as well as into the emotional depths of others; when you decide to engage in a new partnership, you take on a whole new persona. With your good sense of humor and storytelling abilities, you have a powerful verbal connection in your intimate relationship. You love being in love and transforming your energy from a primal urge to merge with the sacred love you have between you. Through intimacy, you will learn how to experience your own emotional desires without fear, and find a new sense of security and meaning this year. A love for beauty and symbols of beauty and your strong will power attracts powerful relationships to you. You are dramatic and dignified and also very caring and compassionate. You have a great capacity to let the child within you flow freely. Love and compassion are important to you and people respond well to the attention you give them, but sometimes you need to detach yourself from others so you can rediscover your own source of mystic union and refreshment.

WEll, after six years, there is no doubt that they have drifted apart and both have to have done a lot of detaching already, or they would probably still be together. You as cancer probably have as good a chance. Your sag moon might cause some friction with his virgo sun.
Good Luck.

6 yrs is a long time regardless of the signs.
It will take them both time to heal I'm sure unless either one of them had someone else in mind before splitting. Yes, it's wise to be wary that he may be rebounding. You need to protect yourself.

Astrology has nothing to do with relationships. It depends on the people involved.
