They don't. Some women make more money than their husbands. But if there are children involved, the man has an obligation to those children. Also, it makes a difference WHY they are getting divorced.

This is not always, nor is it written in stone. In our society, the man usually makes more money than the wife so he ends up paying the wife for her current life style, and with kids then child support too. But it does happen the other way around alot.Its called reversal spousal support

That is mostly true only because the majority of men make more money than the women. However, whoever has the children is the one who gets child support. I've known women who pay child support faithfully.

It isn't that way. it depends on who makes the most, who has the kids and who has the potential to earn the most money. It may be that it seems it's always men because they still hold the majority of the earning power so if things seem unfair, consider that!

don*t say ALWAYS ! i paid for my dovorce myself ! he was suoopse to pay for court costs but i did it !! he didn*t pay 1 red cent !!! best investment i ever made in my life !!!!!
