It's probably refering to the drivers for your video card. If you have a nvidia card, then just goto http://www.nvidia.com and download the latest update.
But to check the version, you right click My Computer, choose properties, then click Device Manager button.
Find the entry for Display Adapter and expand it by clicking the + sign. Now right click on the entry (which would be the name/model of your video card) and right click, choose properties, click the Driver tab and it shows the info.

A driver is a program on your computer that allows a physical device (such as a video card) to be able to communicate with your computer, and vice versa. There are many drivers installed for many devices on your computer.
The "update your drivers" is a pretty generic way to solve a problem. Online games crash occasionally, especially if they use Java. Just restart it and keep on playin. If it crashes often, then look into updating your drivers.

first, restart your pc. see if that helps.
if not, then right click on my computer, then go to manage. that should open a new window, go down to device mnanager on the left side, and if there's anything in that list that has a yellow '!' next to it, double click on it. another window will pop up. there should be a button somewhere there that says update drivers. follow the instrucitons, and when it asks where to search, search the internet. it willl search, and (hopefully) install your new drivers for you.
hope that helps, if you need any more help, send me an email.
good luck!!
