Two identical vehicles with differing engine -
The V6 is working harder to provide the same speed as a V8 engine would for the same mass of vehicle. The rpm would most likely be higher too. Maybe not drastically so, as the car is most likely in overdrive at that point, but a little bit higher.

Yes it is still the same speed. The V8 may use up less power to get to 50 MPH. But it is Exactly the same speed. Its like saying what weights more, A pound of butter or a pound of Feathers. The same they both weigh a pound.

Yes 50 mph is the same but the rpm's will be different due to the extra cylinders not making the engine work as hard

though numerically the same, 50 mph feels faster in a v6 than in a v8.(thr reason being the v6 revving higher than the v8)

What do you mean by the same. 50 mph is the same change in position over time in any vehicle. The only difference will be what gear your transmission is in, and how many rpm's you have. That is mainly determined by your transmission however.

Oh, no, it is slower. And in a 4 cylinder it is slower yet. You should see how fast a v-12 is moving at 50 mph! I have a question for you. What is heavier, a pound of feathers or a pound of sand? LOLOL! What are they teaching in our schools these days?

50 mph is 50 mph, no matter what car you're in. a v8 just might get you to 50 mph faster.
