The band members are trying to move the new 50 kg amplifier to the garage where they practice. If they exert a force of 20 newtons, at what rate will the amplifier accelerate?

Force = mass x acceleration.
Acceleration = force / mass = 20/50 = 0.4.
I'll let you determine the units.

you would need 500 newtons just to get it off the ground!
dont think 20 will move the carrying strap!

I have no idea because I'm mathematically stupid. I was going to say when we move Amps we put them on dollies.
