I donated my eggs five months and had a period twelve days later but have not had one since. I don't have insurance so I don't want to go to the doctor unless I have to. What should I do?

Well I don't know anything about donating eggs, so I'm not sure how that will affect your body and cycle, but the obvious first thing is to take a pregnancy test just to be sure. If it's negative then I know that some things can account for a missed period, like extreme stress or things like that. I understand about not having insurance, I'm in the same boat, so what about going to Planned Parenthood or some free place like that to get a checkup and pap smear and ask them what may be going on?

Get your butt to the doctor right away. I know you don't want to go to the doctor unless you have to, but you have to. The fact that your menstrual cycle has stopped is a Giant Flashing Neon Light that something is not right with your body. Do not go to the clinic where you donated eggs - they may have done something to you.

Planned Parenthood is a great resource for low-cost gynecology, otherwise, see if your county has a public health clinic. Even a local medical college may offer low-cost medical care. Do not wait too long - go see someone NOW.

Why not call the place where you donated the eggs and just ask them if that is normal? You can also try a womens clinic and most places charge by your income. Is there a possibilty your pregnant?

I don't have any experience with that. But i do know that Planned Parenthood has sliding scale and they aren't there just for birth control. They do all that women's care stuff. If there is one in your area call them up for the info about payment. Wow lots of Planned Parenthood advise. Sounds like its the way to go.

you are supposed to drop one egg each month so you paid in advance and will start again next month.
