I am now 12 weeks and 1 day and last week i started feeling this funny feeling right in the middle betweenmy belly-button and pubic bone, It felt like when someone barely runs there finger up your arm...but inside there...my mom says its the baby im feeling move, but all the things iv read have said that you dont start feeling the baby till at least 13 weeks if not 16-20, so is it the baby or what else could it be?

You could possibly be feeling the baby, dont listen to anyones rude opinions.
Every woman is different!
My first I didnt feel movement for a long time, wel I didnt know I was pregnant until 6 months LOL
my second I felt "butterflies" for the first time around 12 weeks and my third around the same time.
People woman can tell the difference between gas & movement, and if you dont then you surely dont know your body.
If you think you felt it and you know it wasnt gas then it was the baby you felt, it wouldnt be very strong it would feel like flutters or small butterflies for a split second, as you go further along especially in your 6/7 month you will feel full on kicks that can be very cute yet painful at times
Baby hiccups are the best! I couldnt get enough of them, My daughter had them about 3 times a day and she still has them 5 months after birth (she had some problems that causes them but none the less they are still adorable and feel like when you laugh your belly jumps but your not really laughing, unexplainable feeling that you have to feel for youself
Congrats and good luck!

I Do not agree with the whol not until 16 to 20 weeks bit I think they say that so the not so in touch mommies do not feel left out when they do not feel there baby move as soon if you are a small woman you usually feel it earlier I felt butterflies at 8 weeks and real movement at about 12 (not gas) !! Believe it or not we know the difference in gas and a baby so how exciting for you!! I agree with you're mom they are right more than we like to admit. One more thing that may farther convince you my doctor asked me at my 12 week check up and at 16 weeks if I was feeling movement . Why would they ask if it is not possible the 16 to 20 weeks is an average!! good luck and congrats

I would say for sure it is. Especially if you're skinny. Im 5 foot 3 and 123 pounds and I felt the baby move around 12 weeks. It's not a constant thing to feel, it's only once in a while. Im 17 weeks now, and I still get the same feelings every now and again, but sometimes they're stronger than others. It will be so exciting when its more consitant and you can really tell for sure. Congrats :)

It could be, it would be improbable but not impossible. It could be gas, indigestion, body adjusting just to the uterus. At this stage your uterus is also rising...
I've been feeling the same thing now for about 2 weeks maybe once every two days or so. Everyone tells me it COULD be the baby but they all seem skeptical. I'm 16 weeks on tuesday.
Congrats and Good Luck!

yes it sounds like the baby. Everyone is different when first feeling the baby so dont listen to people who say it is too early. I felt my baby move around 12 weeks as well but not regualarily until around the 4th month.

You're probably more in tune to what is going on in your belly now than you were before. You are not feeling the baby move yet. You are feeling intestinal movements and gas. The baby's movement is A LOT different than this and you will recognize it. Don't plan on feeling it until 16-22 weeks especially if this is your first pregnancy. The baby is still much too small before this.

It depends on how much you weigh and where your placenta is at, mine is in the front over my belly button so I didnt feel andything till I was around 23weeks but it does sound like the baby is moving, dont go by what you read 100% I learned that when I wasnt gaining the right amount of wieght and belly button wasnt popping out and my doctor want doing what they said he should at that paticular week. But like they said you are in tune with your body and if it is in fact the baby moving you will definantly know in the back of your head trust me.

actually that's enormously early to be feeling something...the problem-free is 20 weeks even although that's not impossible...that's merely your toddler is so small and that's stressful to experience that gentle of circulation on your reliable uterus appropriate even although that's conceivable i think! i'm questioning that's some thing else although. *** upload - merely wait a pair of month or so and you'd be responsive to if the sensation is comparable and alter into merely lighter appropriate! i presumed I felt circulation at approximately 15 and sixteen weeks reason I had all this vibration feeling even even though it relatively wasnt gassy bubble feeling that early! you would be responsive to finally if what you felt now's the toddler and that i'm not doubting you yet actually it is vitally early to experience toddler strikes. maximum women even in a 2d being pregnant don't experience them until sixteen weeks or greater.

Its the baby, and you may notice it more when you bend at the waist or drink/eat anything w/ caffiene. I didn't know what it was either until I really felt her move but I was still getting that feeling. I called it, doing flippies...because thats what came to mind when I felt it...like the little bean was flipping or rolling inside of me. And that is when I first felt it @ 12 weeks.
