i have heard many bad things about H&R block. i know from experience that their customer service is horrible. you would be better going on line and filing. I do it every year and it seems to be much easier and i can get all of my deductions that i am entitled to. Block doesnt give you all those options. go to the IRS website and check out the online tax preparers if you are interested. i use complete tax and it lets me see how much i will owe or my refund BEFORE i press submit.

Let me just warn you about H&R Block: they make mistakes and if the IRS finds an error, you, not H&R, will be responsible for paying!
I would suggest looking for a private tax preparer. Some are quite inexpensive.
We will never again use H&R due to their errors.

Depends on how much you made, and how much was taken out. Doing your own taxes is easy. I can do both state and fed forms in about an hour taking my time with it. It just takes grade school math, and high school reading ability..

do it yourself. the tax forms are so elementary, it is all step by step save the money do it yourself
