Being Scottish obviously I'm gonna say Scottish
Why because,
Scot's are generally recognised throughout the world over as being friendly and easy to talk to.
And when i fill in forms re: nationality I always put Scottish not British
Oh!! and has anyone ever noticed that the English always say their british when they lose and English when they win : )
Hope this helps

Scottish. I have a Scottish friend there. I found the people a lot nicer than English. And it's prettier. Maybe I'm biased, but as an American, that was my take on it. I'd go back to Scotland in a heartbeat.

Whoa babe slow down. This is what I said couple of nights ago between the USA and Britain and got shot down for it. Like a few people said and they were correct, why should we argue about nations etc.. I thought at least Scotland and England were one together. I dont know your favourite footy team but mine is Liverpool and celtic are the best up there, surely if they can join together and be happy we can. They have the same footy anthem and have never fought between them , or the fans. I am from north west of england but lived in scotland for quite a while. Never had one wrong word up there babe and loved the people, the haggis and the tablet lol. Just watch people say I addict now because I said tablet. Still make it now. Forgot to say my surname is Nield and is from Scotland and we have our own tartan. lol.

Why do I have to choose?
My mate from Glasgow isn't keen on people from Edinburgh and my cousin from Newcastle isn't keen on the London branch of the family. So I guess it doesn't have to be a nationalistic choice!
I'm a Londoner but don't 'feel English' - wandering Gloucestershire or Cumbria is alien (but enjoyable) for a city girl, but I can't say I preferred eiher of those counties to Glasgow or Edinburgh or Oban or most of Argyll.
I've met good and bad people in both countries; the salt of the earth and a few I'd like to plant in the earth! I like them all for different reasons and felt happy showing them to visitors from the US as beautiful places in Britain.

Well i have no opinion on neither since as far as im concerned, they're both part of the UK and it shouldnt be about "who is the best"
Does make me laugh how everyone who says Scottish gets a thumbs up, and those who say English get the thumbs down.
I'm guessing not too many people like the english eh?
So where does wales come into this? :D

I'm Welsh...I've been to Scotland and England on holiday and been treated very well by both sets of people. The thing that makes me give the Scots the vote is that in my OWN country,in my OWN pub an obnoxious Englishman came over to OUR table and asked us not to speak OUR language to each other as he and his wife could n't understand. That one Englishman tarnished my ideas of the English,a Scotsman would NEVER do such a thing.
The fact that we are fellow Celts must help too,I feel.

I'm English, and love the country. To be honest I like both countries, I have friends who are Scottish and are lovely people so I have so reason not to like the Scots. Both countries are GREAT!!! Anyone who has a problem with either really needs to get over their prejudices and misconceptions.
I LOVE WALES BY THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!! OH AND I MUSN'T FORGET N. IRELAND!
