Linux for programming,
Apple for graphics,
Windows for solitaire.
It all depends on what you use the computer for.

In the first place, Windows is not a computer company. Now that Apple is using Intel motherboards the only difference is the operating system. Either OS X or Windows XP/Vista. You could argue for hours about which is better.

Windows is not a company. Microsoft is the company that makes windows and they do not make computers.
Therefore, the best answer I can give you is that Apple makes excellent quality computers and I have two of them, a Mac Mini with intel core duo processor and a powerbook G4 with 12" screen.
